Phyllis S. Quinlan, PhD, RN, NPD-BC.

Dr. Quinlan has practiced nursing as a staff nurse, educator, nurse executive, and Internal Coach in a variety of clinical settings. Her full-service consulting firm, established in 1994, specializes in executive coaching, leadership development, and personal coaching. Phyllis serves a wide variety of individual and organizational client needs. Dr. Quinlan collaborates with many organizations to create healthy work environments and effectively address bullying and incivility in the workplace.

Dr. Quinlan is a legal nurse consultant, specializing in defense. Phyllis offers expert nursing opinions on issues addressing nursing practice, nursing support staff, and risk management.

Phyllis is a professional certified coach with over 20-years’ experience in executive coaching, career, and life coaching. She offers consulting and coaching services to a variety of individual and corporate clients but specializes in:

Phyllis employs the principles of emotional intelligence, applied positive psychology, and appreciative inquiry to address blind spots and issues creating obstacles to leadership development, as well as, professional and personal success. She is committed to collaborating with healthcare leaders in their efforts to create healthy work environment, as well as, understanding and effectively managing disruptive behavior (bullying & incivility) in the healthcare workplace.

Dr. Phyllis is the career coach for the Association of Perioperative Nurses/AORN and she regularly presents on a variety of topics for 3M Healthcare.

As a certified mindfulness workplace facilitator, Phyllis is also able to offer her clients the benefits of weaving a mindfulness practice into their personal life or organization’s culture.
